Best for adjusting colour with no bitterness or flavour impact with low percentage additions. But will also make you beer as black as a politicians heart if needed at higher percentages without the astringency of black malt

This is a brilliant product. I was aiming for a super dark imperial stout without the overpowering roast bitterness. This one did the trick mixed with light and dark chocolate malts.

Used in Brown Ale .

Used in a "Brown Ale" recipe with chocolate malt to create a dark chocolate character & appearance. Worked very well.
