I smelled the pepper as soon as I opened the bag but did not taste the pepper.

Spicewell pepper
I’m still trying it out in savory dishes. It’s a little different in taste. A bit veggie more than pepper. But in some of the dishes I’ve tried, it really enhances the flavor using smaller amounts.
