Nimble and useful.
Bought on a lark based on the price and the material of the blade. Super handy for small jobs like cutting an apple or prepping a sandwich. Really sharp out of the box.

Amazing knife !
The handle is comfortable. Yexell knives are defined by their traditional black beech Pakkawood handles. These handles are known for their attractive design and durability.
The blade is a unique hybrid. Its blade features combine the strength of a Santoku and the precision of a Nakiri, making it a 'curvy duo' in the size of a prep knife. This makes it perfect for the same rocking motion we already use, but for smaller ingredients like shallots or herbs.
The blade is taller than a petty knife's blade. When you use it, your knuckles won't hit the cutting board.
It's super sharp straight out of the box.
Its aesthetic is defined by the beautiful "Tsuchime" hammered finish, which prevents food from sticking to the blade.
I've been using its 8.5" version for years and I really like it. The 5.5" knife knife is an obvious choice, and is a direct result of that. Great job Yaxell!
C & M, thanks for the speedy shipping and delivery! I'm really grateful!

You too should Keto
What an outstanding little performer. This diminutive Konata from Yaxell is super sharp out of the box and very versatile in the kitchen. I was and still am amazed at how useful this guy is. Great job Yaxell..!!!
