Loved the pattern!

Made one for myself and daughter-in-law. Graded between sizes for her. The flutter sleeve with the lower binding I had never done before. Finished the flutter edge with a tiny rolled hem on my serger (A first). Made the higher neckline and cap sleeve for myself. I liked how the cap sleeve looked so much I’ll use it on tees. Used cover stitch for knee length hems on both. Great pattern.

I love the Spellbound dress. It is an easy to wear flattering fit. I have made a few of them in various fabrics.

Spellbound

I had been looking for a maxi dress pattern for sometime and this seemed to fit the bill. The pattern instructions were very detailed particularly the fitting. The make up instructions were straightforward as I am an experienced sewer. However I thought I bought enough fabric for a maxi dress but when I came to cutting out I had to make a shorter version. I will make the dress again but will slightly adjust waist and order more fabric.
