almost as good as the very best reeds i have played in my memory. extremely useful in making adjustments as it takes reed idiosyncrasies out of the equation. very responsive even in pianissimo measures and has a very reliable intonation up and down the scales.

Semi-professional: I love mine

It won't be for everyone, but as a semi-professional masters graduate who now has a full-time job...I can't beat the convenience of this, I would never have time to keep up with making reeds. I think it's a GREAT option for students as well--avoid the constant battle of getting them to buy new reeds!
