I love the consistency and reliability of Legere reeds. And they’re perfect when doubling - the horn is always ready to go!

Less is more

I’m using 1.5 strength reeds for my tenor and soprano and both seem to integrate well with my horns throughout the range of my horns, better than any bamboo I’ve tried. My experience is, that the best strength bamboo reeds to get the same confident sound and facility on my horns was a 2. However, out of a box of bamboo, as Forest said, you never know what you’re getting.
