Even more beautiful in real time

I am left handed and write with dip pens most of the time, as I only have 1 fountain pen with a left handed nib ( specially made), as dip pens are very forgiving. I have several dip pend, but they are not hand made, and write well, but I wanted something better- I certainly got what I asked for. This pen is so beautiful- the pictures do not do the colors justice- the cloud and the moon on the end are magical. the nib writes smoothly without scratching or dragging, especially with Tamoe River A5 paper. Very please- next purchase---the matching ink well!!

Beautiful glass dip pen and packaging

I ordered this on a Thursday and received it the following Monday which is insanely fast given that I am on the East Coast USA. The product was not only packaged securely but also with great presentation. The dip pen is true to a Japanese Fine nib and is a little scratchy but that can be fixed with sandpaper if you prefer buttery smooth nibs. It gives you an idea of how an ink will work. Even with a Fine nib, I was able to see the shimmer in the fountain pen ink I wrote with. I am happy I ordered from this wonderful store!

My dream pen

This pen is a work of art! For me, I got this because it reminded me of Sailor Moon. It’s very comfortable to hold but also very scratchy, if you’re sensitive to that.
