Bank Paper Dot Grid My Favorite

I like the thickness of the paper better than Tomoe River. I like the uncoated feel better than Tranext. The Bank Paper behaves perfectly with decent fountain pen ink. I like the size and the binding which work well in my leather notebook covers. There is nothing not to like. The color is not perfectly white; in that the Tranext is better. But for writing in a notebook (which is the best purpose for a notebook) the Mitsubishi Bank Paper is best.

This notebook….!!! Is very gorgeous. The cover is modest, and the binding exposes its paper internals (I will always love that); it lies pretty flat and I love crunching it just to watch the shoulders meet at the center of the spine (You probably shouldn’t do this). Overall, the notebook gives off the impression of an ice cream sandwich, which is very charming. So based on looks alone, it’s perfect. As for its capacity to handle ink…!!! It’s also great. I am lacking in my vocabulary and this is definitely the sort of paper you should experience on your own. If I could describe it in one word, I would probably say it’s “enduring.”
