I purchased a lot of reservoirs for each color of ink in my collection. I also purchased the same number of glass containers to stow the inked up reservoirs for future use. Instead of lugging around loads of bottles of ink, I only need to bring the reservoirs which are much lighter and doesn’t take up space in my carrying case. This system is practical and frankly makes life easier.
