Amber Tortoise Estie

OMG! It's gorgeous! This is my first ever Esterbrook. When I saw that it was a limited edition I had to get one. It is the smoothest writer I have in my collection! I'm talking smooth with a capital SMOO! I couldn't not be happier. Thank you so much!

This is my first Estie (F nib) and she’s a beauty! I requested a pen with more of the darker tones and I was really pleased with the specific pen I was sent. My only hiccup was I received a bad nib that skipped and wrote like medium nib even thought it was a fine. The nib had to be dampened in order for ink to flow and even once it got started, it dried up in seconds. Thankfully, customer service was super helpful. After sending an email with a video showing the problem, the rep was more than happy to ship out a replacement nib. My pen works beautifully now and I’m so happy with it! Ink flow is consistent and there’s much less line variation compared to my other Esterbrook fine Niblet.

A rushed photo to quickly try out and share my new Amber Tortoise Estie with a fine flex nib. I was so happy to see the tortoise in a warm tone and a fine flex is my favourite nib. Love this pen!!! Perfect for my next journal and I’m sure this will get lots of use!
