The Wren - Refillable Writing Pen

Left handed smooth and satisfying.

I've spent a good amount of time with the standard wren now using their fibre tip ink that comes with the pen to feel confident about my review. It's nearly perfect, very smooth depending on what paper you write on of course. The fibre tip ink dries quick enough that I never have to worry about my left-handedness causing smudges. The pen itself moves smooth and rarely ever scratches. I would have given it 5 stars, but there are two (rather nitpicky) cons. First small con when storing the pen the friction fit is quite tight I don't know why, but I sometimes struggle to open it. Secondly the fibre tip is not uniform depending on what side I write with dictates the thickness of the line. Besides those two minor and I mean extremely minor complaints this pen has been a dream to work with. I'm using it for daily journaling, writing letters and will probably write tones of birthdaycards with it too! highly reccomended!

Easiest. Loveliest Writing Tool!

I've just finished writing two 4-page letters with my new Wren and I am so pleased with my purchase! It was a snap to fill, with no spillage, by dipping in the cotton batting. The tip began writing smoothly, with no hesitation or clumps, as soon as I put it to the page, I will be purchasing additional tips and cotton interiors to more easily change colors! The size of the pen does not tire my hand, and I look forward to writing many more letters with my new, effortless pen!

Who knew I'd wax lyrical about a pen?!

I've been wanting a more eco-friendly pen and have been using a piston refill fountain. However, it wasn't ideal for me for everyday notes. I spotted the Wren while looking for a better quality fountain pen and thought, 'why not give this a go?'. I'm so glad I did as it is the best pen I've ever used (and I've tried lots)! It's travel sized when closed, has a comfortable grip even for my double jointed fingers, and writes so smoothly. Refill is easy and mess free. I won't be going back to other pens, just switching to my fountain pen for nicely written cards.
