I use this folio daily in my workshop for design sketches, planning, and working out dimensions. The fact that it is in a zippered canvas binder keeps the sawdust out and all my writing instruments are kept organized.

Perfect for 1-2 notebooks and 6 pens

Great place to store my loaded pens for easy access and storage inside a well protected pocket. The one thing that would make this better is a slightly larger spine so that I can fit a notebook and a bible (NKJV or KJV) as well as pens. That would be the ideal notebook and it only needs to be about 0.5” wider. A small ruler pocket would also be nice to that it doesn’t slide around. Travelers brass rulers are a popular item for fountain pens and they look beautiful in your notebooks. If only they had a small pocket where it wouldn’t note around. Keep up the good work and design, you are not of my new favorites! I do need a pen case now, but I’m trying to decide between adding to my Lochby collection or getting something leather. This also zippers all the way around with double zippers so nothing will ever accidentally fall out. It does pick up pet hair easily as it’s canvas / wax but easy enough to clean and re-wax with some Barbour thornproof wax

I have lots of lochby items and love them all. But I think this is my favourite. It isn’t really to be used outside in the field but at home. I use it to keep my diary in and a drawing notebook too. It so so much thicker than the field collection. Softer too. I can’t think of anyway to improve it. I have just purchased the A6 version with the view of using the pen pouch in this and the A6 one to keep all my pens together. Then the A5 will be just for all my diary and sketching pads.
