This magnet is remarkably strong. I only used one of the 2 magnets so far because 1 at a time provided enough force, so far. Each magnet came packaged inside a plastic cylindrical container packed with cushioning material which was helpful for ensuring the magnet was in pristine condition, there was no concern about separating the two magnets, and nothing nearby was accidentally attracted to the magnet. I was able to try out the magnet before taking it out of the plastic container, which was helpful for determinng how it would behave.
