Replacement Parts: Dewalt DWS779/780 Dust Collection

This is my second one , first one worked well as the second one was needed after my friend told me he was all good with the mitersaw.Wrong,he put a short peice of wood in to rip! Oh what a noise, and parts everywhere. No one got hurt. Lesson learned, don’t turn your back on anybody in your shop.

I suppose I could find the screws at Ace but having a few extra of the originals is great. That I can order separate replacement parts is a bonus. I love my dust collection. DeWalt 718 miter saw

I have a discontinued model Dewalt miter saw (718) and custom parts, available in the past) are no longer available. But Shop Nation to the rescue. I’m thrilled at how much this has improved my dust collection. I wish they were made of steel because in everyday use there are flying chips that will occasionally break this (sturdy) plastic chute but I have no complaints. That’s life in my shop. As long as I can get the replacement part and not have pay for hoses and adapters I don’t need, I’ll buy it. That’s how great it works that I’ll keep coming back.
