Dust Collection Chute for Ryobi Sliding Miter Saw

Instead of a healthy layer of dust I now have a light dusting around my Ryobi saw. That's OK because it was my expectation. One complaint: The 5 inch hose should be 18-20 inches so it can be tied to the end of the bars and won't interfere with the drawing of the saw. Please see my photo.

Compared to the stock collector....its night and day. I've only used it for a handful of cuts so far but I'm very impressed. Install was very straight forward too. Only real downside is the price from Canada, cost nearly half as much as the saw itself! But honestly worth it as an upgrade, dust collection has been my only real issue with this saw until now. If only my two table saws could collect dust like this...that's my next struggle I guess!

Works a lot better than the original dust shield. I added a clamp and bracket to hold to back of the saw. Works like a champ with keeping the dust down and straight into the shop vacuum
