The Perfect Shop Tape Measure (Dual Unit)

This is a nice tape measure but it’s not the best one I have ever used. I love the dual readings it has and that’s about all. Some people may really like it. It’s made of plastic and the blade is flimsy. I don’t care for the lanyard strap that seems to get it the way. I like a tape measure that has a little more beefy feel. The tape needs to be rigid and strong with a metal housing.

These are decent measuring tools. My favorite feature is that the tape stays extended when pulled out without the need to engage a lock button. Then it’s a simple press of the button to retract it. It seems the inches scale could have clearer markings, for example at the inch increments, but otherwise it feels like a good value and durable tape measure.

I need a tape measure with imperial and metric measurements. This tape measure has both. It is high quality and the perfect size.
