Dust Collection Chute & Plan Bundle for Dewalt DW708 Sliding Miter Saw

Very easy to install,looks good now it is time to check it out.

I have the dw708, an older model, back before dust collection was really of importance. The shop nation works well with dust collection but it does limit the use of the saw. The bigger collection port makes me keep the adjustable backs open more making it more difficult to cut smaller pieces. It also limits me when tilting it on a bevel. If you never tilt your saw or don't need to keep the throat tight it works well. But unfortunately for me im having to think of different ways to make simple cuts because of my restrictions. Maybe the newer saws it will be different. Ill wait for someone else I know to buy it for themselves before I add it to my newer saw.

Installation was easy, and the instructional video was very helpful. I did have to trim the rubber strip do get it to install in the plastic housing. I've been using the miter saw with the dust collection and I'm rethinking the need to build a dust hood around the saw.
