Dust Collection Chute & Plan Bundle for DeWalt DWS779/780 Sliding Miter Saw

Install was easy but the first time using the saw, the rubber scoop went into the blade and was cut up. When cutting, I extend the blade all the way out and into the wood, then push it toward the fence. This caused the scope to get hung up on the fence and be sliced up. If I start the cut from the fence and extending the blade out, the scoop tends to hang up on the fence. I'm going to replace the scoop with the second one that came with the kit and try changing the way I make cuts (starting at the fence and drawing the blade toward me) but I'm not seeing any the advantage of this product yet.

I put off purchasing one of these for my DeWalt 780 saws and that's my biggest regret, that I didn't buy one sooner. I've got all of my saws outfitted with them now and every future saw will have one as well. The dust collection is unbelievable, especially compared to the stock dust chute that DeWalt supplies. The design is flawless and fits perfectly onto the saw without any issues or cutting or grinding needed, they really put the effort into these dust collection units, I would recommend one to any serious carpenter.
