Dust Collection Chute for Dewalt DW708 Sliding Miter Saw

As you are aware, DeWalt's design of the sawdust collection discharge chute for the 708 & 709 models was very minimal at best of collecting and discharging the material. Your system made a world of difference. After installing it, I was concerned that my central vac system might not pull much because the chop saw was second to last on that line. I cut a 2X6 both at 90 and 45 degrees and hardly any sawdust particles lying around the saw. That put a smile on my face. By the way Amazon suggested contacting you for the solution to my problem for my model of DeWalt miter Saw dust problem, said you were having very good results with yours. I agree. I cut up a pickup load of remodel salvaged rough sawn wood yesterday and my cleanup around my miter saw was minimal compared to a couple weeks ago before installing your new dust vac chute system. Very good design, easy installation, extra spare parts, good fit and works well. Great product. Thank you. Very Satisfied

I can finally use my Dewalt 708 miter saw in my shop without getting choked by dust! The Shop Nation dust collector was easy to install and connect to my Rigid ShopVac, including the necessary adapters for a solid fit. It does a great job channeling most of the sawdust to the shop vac. The only issue I had, a minor one, was how to get a stable mount for the exit hose/shop vac connection. I ended up using baling wire. It worked fine but there has to be a more elegant solution.

Works well but still have some dust . I first used my dust collecting system; then my shop vac. Shop vac improved suction but still have dust collecting around tool. Will say it’s better that the dewalt factory installed system
