Usually Truly Excellent Basil Oil Is Unfortunately & Unusually Unpleasant

I was so impressed by the care in which the 4 lovely bottles were packed, the note within the box, and the quality of the unflavored olive oil I purchased. I was gifted 2 bottles of your excellent products in the past, & have always loved them. Unfortunately, the basil olive oil, or maybe just the three bottles I received, were not as I expected them to be. I love basil & olive oil, & have bought a variety of this flavor from another company in the past, so I know that it is usually a favorite of mine. This bottle tasted..almost stale. The basil flavor was muted by a strange, almost musty flavor. It did have the peppery bite that is always appreciated, but not enough to make up for the..unfortunate taste. I am sincerely assuming that maybe they were altered by the heat/humidity in the shipping process, because this is the first time I have had a product from your excellent company that was truly unpalatable.
