Hello flat front elastic back woven shorts with side panels (PDF)

Finished shorts are wonderful

The instructions were very clear but I did find the 5/8“ seam allowance awkward to work with (I had to concentrate 😀). For personal preference I increased the rise so they sit at the waist - love them!!!!!

It's a great pattern and one that I'll definitely make again, with a few tweaks!

I made these for my daughter - I love the fact that they come in different heights, makes life a bit easier! I did the short tulip hem in a light weight cotton and they are fantastic. I rarely follow instructions because I've been sewing for so long so I couldn't comment on them, but I did find the fit a little undergenerous for the back - I think next time I'll do a full seat adjustment and probably mash together sizes to have increased give in the elastic part of the waistband, but otherwise they were great. I'd really also appreciate a no seam allowance version contained within the layers as sewing is easier where I can use my own judgement for the allowances needed - I often find that US patterns include seam allowances which are over generous. Other than that, it's a great pattern and one that I'll definitely make again - maybe next time as swim shorts?

En cours mais erreur dans le tutorial .....

le modèle est très joli et je suis en cours de réalisation. Cependant je pense qu'il y a une erreur de nomination p17 du tutorial des pièces pour la poche zippée. D'après le tuto il faut prendre les pièces 10 et 11 or il s'agit des pièces 11 et 12.
