Solid entry, with some flaws
Right off the top, I like the helmet. It fits well, and is mostly as adjustable as it should be. I like the protection it offers my head, as I'm on anti-coagulants and want to preserve my brain as best as possible in a crash. Once it's on and adjusted, it doesn't wobble around It's not overly large, the colorway is very nice, and I mostly forget it's on my head when I'm riding - the hallmark of a great safety device. The helmet is absolutely true to size. If you're planning on wearing this in the winter with a cap, a buff, an earband, etc. , and you're right on the edge of the sizing window, you'll probably want the next size up. Where it could use some work: - The light mount. I immediately changed out the GoPro/Light mount on top for a standard GoPro buckle mount base which I glued in place. The Lazer brand mount is not at all secure (easy to slide out if you go under tree branches), is not very durable in construction, and is proprietary to Lazer. I prefer something that is stock standard in the industry, durable, and easy to replace, Lazer's mount is none of those things. Additionally, my mount arrived without a nut. - The chin strap is not adjustable fore and aft. Wherever Lazer thinks your chinstrap location should be, that's where the strap is going. Would be nice if it included an adjustment mechanism like my other helmets, but I've got a sewing machine and I'm not afraid to use it. I suppose that'll void the warranty, but it beats not being able to wear the helmet because it's choking me. - The underside of the brow of the helmet is glossy, so there's a constant distraction of reflected trail images streaming above my eyes. I'd prefer a subdued finish, and may run some sandpaper across it to eliminate reflections. - The visor doesn't come down far enough. Even in the lowest position, it's still a bit high for decent sun shading.
