Super impressed with the overall construction of these poles. Tested them out on a 12 mile section of the PCT here in WA state and they performed very well. Only reason for docking a star is that the straps on these poles are two different lengths so I cannot get one tight enough to use. Will most likely remove them entirely to save even more weight off these already light weight poles.This pair of poles weighs the same as one of my old poles. Overall I would highly recommend these poles for anyone looking to cut weight and still have something strong and reliable. I got these to replace a pair of flip lock poles that would no longer hold themselves in place and required constant re-adjustment. These poles stayed right where I tightened them down across all 12 miles and were very easy to slightly lengthen when I started my descent back to the TH,

These are the lightest aluminum poles! I like the cork-like grips instead of real cork (critters chew on cork to get the salt from sweaty hiker hands). Great price, too.
