Dust Collection Chute for Makita Miter Saw

I put the Shop Nation dust collector chute on my Makita miter saw and it reduced the dust I see around the saw by at least 90%. It works better on direct down cuts that on sliding cuts, but that is because the vacuum suction does not reach far enough--no fault of the product. I like watching the dust flying into the dust chute when I make a cut now, instead of going all over the place.

I am truly amazed at how much this improved my dust collection, I coupled this with an automated switch and dust is not an issue, of course a little makes it but it’s minimal. Buy this upgrade asap

Works as advertised in my Makita 10” miter saw. Easy to install and clears 70% more dust than anything else I’ve tried. I highly recommend it.
