I have never used a bar dog shampoo before always liquid. It lathered quickly which is important as I have a Golden Retriever and it's hard to get soap down to the skin. Also rinsed out well. He had a few fleas before bath and after several hours noticed a few back on him. Will need to layer several repelling products. . Also
