Only dropped one star because It’s definitely not as audibly quiet as the clever marketing distills in your mind 🤔😅 ..HOWEVER - it is operating in the lower sound frequency spectrum as described and I can confirm it does not frighten my dog (who is hypersensitive to noise) like typically high frequency rotary whizzing motors usually do. I have successfully managed to grind her nails with this device - I’m not exaggerating how impossible it is to go near my girl’s paws with nail clippers (she’s a big girl with equally big nails and simply hates having her paws handled) - so this has been an absolute breakthrough! Highly recommended - I strongly suggest introducing it slowly however (with the motor running) though giving a favourite treat or reward to create a positive association with it over a day or two initially.. and you should have all the success with this product! 🙂🐾

Okay now that I have used this multiple times I feel I can leave a honest review. It is definitely quite and my dog let's me use it on her. That being said it doesn't hold a charge well and looses power I found myself getting frustrated with it and reaching for the normal clippers I was using before.

This change my dogs live when comes to his grooming. My pug always puts up a fight when comes to nail trimming thus I have let them get overgrown. It took 4 sessions to trim his nails to proper length at first he was his normal self fighting me all the way. But by the end of our third session Dutch was laying on his side falling asleep! I can can’t believe how much of a difference it has made, I absolutely recommend this trimmer and to start slowly with your pet and do a little bit at a time get him or her used to it and sit back and watch the difference. Your dog will let you know when it is time to rest and come back at it in a day or two. It took me a week to get the overgrown nails trimmed to length, bit by the time we were done a miracle had happened.
