Excellent fit and finish, pleasure to use

I recently purchased the Dao Vua 52100 Tall Petty after keeping an eye on the company for several years. As a maker working to emerge from under the shadow of a reputation of sub-par steels and only decent fit & finish, I've long been curious about their work - particularly when their newer V2 and V3 lines began to emerge and rumors began to grow of knives well made and worth every penny. Friends, the rumors are true - this petty showed up sharp out of the box (thanks Tukushu!) with excellent fit & finish on the ebony & padauk handle, with a nice rounded spine and comfortable lie in the hand. It performs well, has great knuckle clearance, and is a pleasure to use. Is it the best knife I've ever owned? No, it is not. But for the price it's an absolute steel and is quickly becoming my first go-to petty.
