Two out of five
Let me start off by saying the bags that came as described through the advertisements were just that, amazing flavorful, and perfectly crisp with a great texture. That was two of the five bags.
Now for the less enjoyable side, three of the five bags, over $100/$150 worth of product were a range from unappealing to downright inedible. One of the bags was so greasy that there was no crunch at all and was limp soft. It was almost comparable to beef jerky at six times the cost. One seems like they missed the salt step of the process as it basically tasted of just meat with no other flavor, so pretty unappealing and the burger ones were so dry and flavorless. I ended up throwing away the whole thing, it tasted like eating twigs ground up in the patties from the backyard.
The New York strip was probably the best of the bunch, the first one I tried, and the one that gave me high hopes for everything else, I would give that five stars, the ribeye fats and crumbs were a close second, amazing texture, great flavor, enjoyable start to finish. But when you consider, I basically spent $150 for two enjoyable and three lackluster, I will probably not be re-ordering, especially considering even before the unenjoyable ones. It works out too roughly 8 dollars an ounce, and with the aggregate score of the three bags less than par, it worked out to $15 an ounce.

Carnivore Snax Ribeye
I bought for the first time to try some healthier jerky then the store bought jerky. My very first taste was kind of mediocre as there wasn't a taste explosion, like most jerkies, and was on the bland side. But that was kind of expected as salt was the only flavoring vs the store bought jerkies loaded with other flavorings. But by the time I was finished with my first bag it had changed from 'kind of bland' to 'I couldn't get enough'. Since that first bag it has become my favorite jerky with the only negative being the price. I am sure the price is inline with the cost of production, but that doesn't mean I can afford it anymore then I can, and so I can only purchase a batch once or twice a year. I usually buy the 'fat & crumbs' as you get the exact same thing, just not in as big of sheets, for a little less money.

Do you LOVE the fat???
If your like me then you love the fat even more than the meat! This packet is so full of meat and fat that it is a glorious balance between them both.
