XR® Surgical Recovery Program

My husband was able to drink the lime and coconut carb prep drink. I tried many things to improve the taste of the others but they're just so bitter and taste so bad he refused to drink more of them. This is so expensive, at least improve the taste so that it's not impossible to drink.

We bought this on the recommendation of my son’s surgeon. The 3-stars is related to palatability. My son(14) struggles to drink each serving. We’ve tried many of the suggested recipes but they just can’t mask the bitterness of the flavor. I’ve tasted it as well and don’t find it to be as unpleasant but it certainly doesn’t taste good. All that said, if it helps him recover better/faster then it’s worth it. Unfortunately, that’s an impossible thing to quantify but I can say his pain and energy levels are more favorable than I’d have expected given the duration and complexity of his procedure.
