Amazing machine

Incredible bang for your buck. Upgraded from my Breville Barista Express and feel like I’m learning so much more about pressure, grind size, taste nuances, etc.

Quickmill Pop-up Great!

I have used a Quickmill Andreja for years so the Popup seems light, fragile in comparison. The portafilter is solid but doesn’t fit into the group head smoothly like the larger machine. I love the manual profiling valve. I think I am making a better espresso. I make a cappuccino and an Americano each time. The hot water supply is slow, not at all as powerful as the Andreja dedicated hot water wand, however it does the job. I pull the hot water first and then the espresso. Steaming milk is tricky because the steam blasts out but I am getting some great foam now. Filling the water tank from the side is a dream. The machine heats up quite quickly and I have made several drinks in a row. The pressure gauge and the temperature control display with the profiling valve are great for experimentation and learning. I also like the smaller size and the white finish is lovely. I would highly recommend the Pop-up. The only real flaw is the steam wand accessibility. It is difficult to put the jug in and out without spilling.
