Balsamic Fig & Walnut Fromage

The Balsamic Fig Fromage was lovely. I shared it with my French neighbor who really knows cheeses, and she liked it. But her favorite of the five cheeses I had ordered was the Hatch Chile Cheddar. Just opened this last night and it was really good! The flavor reminds me of when I was able to eat cream cheese, and used to cover a block of it with a jam or jelly- only not quite as sweet. We enjoyed it with grain free crackers, and it was delicious

This "cheese" is super delicious and a bit sweet. It's excellent as an appetizer or desert cheese. Or to accompany afternoon tea.
