My 85-lb dog walks slowly at my side BUT she also has a strong prey drive: deer, foxes, bunnies, of which there are tons in my area. The prong collar, together with the clic-lock, gives me an added level of control as I gently guide her away from the object of her desire with a firm "NO!". I am a 5'2", 105-lb woman, so the collar is essential in order for me to walk her relatively stress-free. And the clic-lock is a game changer for ease of putting on and removing the collar.
