Getting it figured out. I have a Garmin 550 and changing over to the Dogtra. Just want to be certain I totally understand the equipment. The Dogtra team has been most helpful. I like everything about it thus far.

It’s great. Paired with a bungee collar and 3/4” contacts, I’m getting a much more reliable contact on my heeler’s double coat compared to my old 1900ncp. The only recommendations I have are adding another button so nick, constant, and boost are all available. Along the same lines, it’d be if the light were on the outermost side from the neck. Overall, vast improvement and nearly perfect. The boost is a game changer.

All new design on the transmitter required me to read the instructions. The buttons now make sense. User friendly. The new receiver is quite sleek and fits the neck better. Adding the LED and the sound is a welcome bonus.
