Heavy and clumsy. Nowhere as easy to use as the Henckel 8" bread knife it replaced. That was about 50 yrs. old.

Nice to have a sharp bread knife back on the kitchen ! Previous Henckles served me well for decades but was time to go. Handle on the new knife is more substantial than previous knife, like the feel of this knife.

I bought this for my wife, who asked for a shorter bread knife. After looking over many options in this price range, I decided on this Zwilling. It comes very sharp and cuts through both sticky raisin nut bread and crusty breads with no problem. This is a no frills bread knife that simply gets the job done and cleans up easily.
