Amazing!
I am thouroughly enjoying my new knife. I own and use daily a Wusthof Classic Ikon 8" which is my work horse for home meal prep. I bought the Performer largely because it looks cool. It's weighted slightly differently than the Ikon. It was super sharp outside of the box, and even after almost a week's use is still cutting beautifully and effortlessly. The grip on the Performer is great. When I use the Ikon which has a smooth handle, I have to make sure that my hands are perfectly dry, not so with the Performer. The only complaint I have, which isn't a big deal, is that I read about the finish of the Performer making it easier for food to not stick to the blade: I'm not getting that at all. I use the Performer and the Classic Ikon about the same amount of time and love the Classic Ikon no less. Would I purchase this knife again? Absolutely!

Amazing quality
I have a growing collection of Wusthof classic knives but I keep eyeing the performer series. I finally purchased this beauty, wow what a difference from my 8’ classic. The blade is like a straight razor and the texture of the handle is amazing. They definitely hit a home run with these ones. If you’re looking at them don’t hesitate to get one, you’ll be happy you did.

Off the Charts
Best knife I’ve ever owned. Excellent weight and balance. And man does it cut so well. Waiting to buy the restock of the pro line at next sale. Love Love Love.
