Doesn’t fit most clip-on bags

Bought these and basically have them as decor on my bike for two years. Don’t fit my timbuk2 bike bag nor my ortlieb panniers (I’ve managed to put the lock mechanism backwards and it kind of holds it in place but not reliably.) Waited two years for Aventon to come out with some mounted rack to put this contraption but have given up on waiting. Really thought the design team would have tested their thick square ledges against some of the most popular bike bag brands…what’s wrong with standard rounded ledges? Now looking for a replacement rack that fits the bike or a replacement top rack that goes with the mounts.
