Road bike replacement

As a rider of an ultralight carbon road bike, I originally bought the Soltera 3 for guests to use. After riding it every day this week, I may have to buy a second one for my guests. It rides and handles just like a road bike, but I can ride faster, travel farther, or arrive fresher. On flat ground, I can easily pedal 14 to 16 mph unassisted. In eco mode, I can go 17 to 19 mph with the same effort, and can exceed 20 mph by pedaling faster. Sport and turbo modes allow me to conquer hills or stiff headwinds. The integrated lights and turn signals are a nice bonus.

A cyclist’s e-bike!

The bike is just as advertised and hyped. It feels just like riding a road bike (not a moped) but always having a tailwind (or having younger stronger legs). It is great for commuting (which is what I got it for) and running small errands … now I get there a little faster with a little less effort. Really wouldn’t change anything about the bike (except maybe the pedals but that’s generally true for any new bike). I’m 6’1, 225 and the XL size fits me perfectly.

Aventon is a great company and their communication has been exceptional. The product is top notch and it’s a joy to ride. Bravo Aventon!
