It’s a very good ride with solid acceleration and a sturdy frame. With the very few problems, I’ve had the support team has been amazing especially Ned! Considering the competition in the E bike market, I suggest you keep things simple so that the bikes are truly functional and avoid fancy extras. I would say the display should be a little larger and brighter and there’s definitely a need for a battery with a greater range. I’m looking forward to solid state batteries - they need to happen soon. There are very similar bikes online for less than a quarter of Aventon prices. They may not be of the same quality, but they are certainly a major challenge. There are many batteries online at half your price.

Controler

Displays kept burning out. Couldn't figure out the issue. After speaking with support at Aventon the thoughts were that the controller was surging and creating an overload to the system. (warranty expired) I replaced the controller and still after about 20 miles the system seems to have been resolved.
