It seems sturdy. The battery and the glasses look a bit cheap but everything else appears ok. I like the dual mode and the different programs. Its versatile and you can play around. It leaves a characteristic smell after you use it. I assume its because the matt gets warm. Nothing intolerable. I have GTPS and knees problems and after every session I feel it helps with the pain. Overall would buy again
