Rustic beauty
I quite like this knife. It is very light, about half the weight of my 7in Shun Classic Santuko, and very sharp! For me, the single bevel does not lend to fast prep, as I need to go slower to control the cut. But that's ok! I only use this for cuts I want to take my time with :-) Oh, and sticky food just rolls off this blade!

Awesome knife with a story
I love this knife! It's sturdy and sharpens up easily. I gifted this to a friend and couldn't stop thinking about "the one that got away" and had to get one for myself haha. Really cool that it's made by a guy who has a lot of experience making sickles. It gives me a rustic feel. In that sense, the knife is by no means perfect, or "a work of art", but it's crudely utilitarian and that's beautiful in itself!
