This is my first knife, ive been using philips branded knives and let me tell you im never going back. This knife is smooth to cut with and has an amazing handle. For my first knife its the best and would highly recommend!!!

Great Balance and Very Comfortable Handle

I tried about 5 different Santokus before deciding on this one. For me, the balance was perfect, the handle a perfect fit (note: I have large hands). I particularly liked that the heel was eased a bit towards the tip, reducing the risk of accidental nipping when picking it up.
