It appeared to be a returned set given to me. Wood was nicked and had minor dents. Some knives were missing their protective tips. And not as sharp as I believed they would be. Better than my Home Goods knives though! Just the quality control is bad. If they had not sent me a used set, I probably would be happier than I am now.
