I often bring along either a caffeinated gel or bar on my longer rides. These do the job and a nice flavor too

Great taste, great nutrition

I've recently been trying to shift my running fuel to simpler nutritional profiles to support my GI system when running and racing and these bars are proving really useful in longer efforts. They're maybe not ideal for taking in at all-out efforts because of the fat and protein but several hours into a run they are clutch!
