This red grain rice has a nutty flavor akin to a good brown rice. The aroma is also like a good brown rice, nutty and aromatic. It has a robust texture and maintains its grain integrity after cooking. The grains open to reveal a white interior, making a pleasing visual presentation. This red rice is a welcome addition to the pantry and plate!

This is the second time I have ordered and cooked this red rice. It has a nice chewy texture and a great flavor. I use it in grain bowls and in place of whole basmati rice in recipes. Good alone or with other ingredients. Love this rice!
