Love the lid

The finish of the skillet lid is completely different from the skillet itself. It is rough and bumpy. I can’t help but wonder what the rationale is. It’s as if the lid and the skillet don’t go together. It was a dealbreaker for me. I returned it as well as the skillet because without a lid the skillet wouldn’t suit my needs.
