I have a sensitive neck and coarse neck hair, a recipe for less than perfect shaves from the majority of razors. With my sharpest blade (Personna PDG) the BBS OC provided a 2 pass DFS with minimal irritation. I’m sure experimentation with a less aggressive blade will provide an even more comfortable experience. I also appreciate the steep blade angle, it feels more comfortable to my hand in a steeper angle. All in all, the BBS OC is a fantastic offering and I would absolutely recommend.

I've tried a lot of razors. Vintage, modern, adjustable, open comb, hybrid and bar type etc. Ultra mild to aggressive. But I've never found what feels like the goldilocks razor. Some of the old Gillettes are very close. But I've sensitive skin and thick coarse hair. So irritation is easy to get. Especially on the neck and chin. My face likes sharp crisp blades, or medium smooth blades. So aggressive razors never really work out as daily razors. With the BBS oc I can use either type of blade and shave every day or 2 with zero irritation and get a super close shave with no ingrowns. The unique geometry at play here isn't just marketing jibber jabber. I've finally found the ideal razor for me. If you're hesitating......Just get it. It's very smooth and efficient. Titanium handle is grippier than you'd think, nice and long for massive hands.
