Breg® Polar Care Cube w/ Knee Pad

Excellent product

This Polar Care Cube is easy to set up, compact and works quite well. I feel that you should include at least 4 of the required freezer bags with the initial purchase because I can’t imagine too many households have enough ice on hand to fulfill the required amount! We used it the first day with what ice we had and I was able to use the machine at 20 minute intervals 5 times that day! An On/Off Switch would be nice too instead of having to unplug it every 20 minutes. I ordered the $15.00 supply of bags just so we weren’t running out to the store for ice.

Convenient, simple, and the delivery of cold is just right. Had a total knee replacement on Monday, and had to stay in the hospital for a few extra days. It was a real pain to keep asking the nurse to replace my ice bag. All I could think about was my Breg polar care cube waiting for me at home. What a game changer! The pads fit nicely around my knee and it is so easy to re-position to other areas around my leg. I get constant cold at just the right temperature. It is very comfortable and feels so good. Any one having surgery needs to have a Breg polar ice machine.

Not worth it

Well this is a very nice looking unit. It does not stay cold for very long. The ice and water need to be replaced about every 2 hours. I have had other cold therapy devices in the past that'll last 6 to 8 hours. Usually this one just it doesn't seem to be very well insulated. All in all I would not purchase this again. I wish I could return it.
