Excellent and effective machine
The machine works great. As a scientist I would like to give 2 feedbacks: 1 used it for my shoulder, so you can imagine how difficult is plug/unplug. So a switch will be a plus. Also an indicator light let the user know it is running. 2- an operational tip. Putting an ice bag 10 minutes before use and replacing with 3 new ice bags at start will increase cooling efficiency

A few changes could make this five stars
I am five days post op from a total knee replacement and the ice machine is a huge part of the rehab. The BIG thing that is missing is an on/off switch??? Plugging it in and out is a pain.

My go to for cold therapy!
I purchased a DonJoy IceMan Clear3, to replace my original DonJoy/Aircast cryocuff cooler. Many years ago a foot surgeon requested I purchase a DonJoy/Aircast. The pad was placed under my post surgical wrap & later inside my cast. I used the original Aircast cooler with a foot surgery & two knee replacements. Unfortunately, it was stolen before my latest surgery. I went to purchase the DonJoy IceMan Clear3, the link directed me to a different site, to another brand. When it arrived, I noticed it was not a DonJoy Iceman. It looked similar, so I gave it a try, but didn't work as well as the DonJoy, so it was sent back. I knew I wanted another DonJoy, so I purchased the clear3. Instead of using ice cubes & water I use two frozen water bottles with water in my Clear3, it works great. I like that it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. I use an extension cord with a foot switch/button for switching it on and off.
