I put one of these in the cooking water for aduki beans and it really added a tasty kick. I look forward to using them more, just need to be careful of the heat factor.

I use the chipotle morita pepper in my beans . These are Santa Maria Pinquito beans from Rancho Gordo beans . I saute veggies / onion , then cumin/coriander / smoked paprika , add my soaked beans , and cook . I add chipotle in adobo too and sausage / ham . Chipotle morita is great in chiles too !!

I'm not a big chili fan as they are usually too hot for me. But I love throwing one or two of these in my curries for flavor and some heat.
