works well for hip replacement. Except that the strap to hold the 3 pads in place only attaches to one. The other two will slide down. a couple of strips of velcro, with hooks on both sides, will hold the other 2 pads in position on the strap

Left Hip Pad

It was too big and too difficult to attach. It folded and/or kinked at times causing poor water flow.. I found that my original left knee pad worked better and was much easier for me to use and wear. My replacement procedure was anterior . I found the directions for the left hip pad to be lacking in pictures and information.

Although it works the passages are too small and don’t allow cold water to flow well through the pad.
